Wizard’s Emporium is a trading style of Rehab Piccadilly York (‘the Company’) registered in the UK number 12125145.

Price

The prices of activities are as set out from time to time on the Company’s website at www.rehabpiccadilly.co.uk
Prices may also be displayed in printed literature, such as leaflets, and on however the current prices payable are those which appear on the website. Current prices, as displayed on the website, shall be applied at the time of booking and shall apply at the time service is delivered to the customer. Any price variations arising subsequently to those applying at the time of booking shall not apply to the booking in question.

Bookings & payments

Bookings for Wizards’ Emporium Rehab Piccadilly escape games may be made via the website or onsite and must be paid for in full at the time of booking by credit or debit card. A two per cent surcharge will be levied on all payments made by credit card. There is no surcharge in respect of debit card payments.
In the event that more clients than the number booked wish to take part in the event, additional players may pay on the day by credit or debit card or in cash PROVIDED THAT the total number of players per room does not exceed five people.

Late arrivals

The Company operates tightly scheduled live action events. All participants MUST ARRIVE NOT LESS THAN 15 MINUTES BEFORE THEIR SESSION START TIME. Where possible we will strive to accommodate late arriving groups or individual members of a group, but this cannot be guaranteed and late arrival may result in the event last less than 60 minutes or the event being cancelled without refund. Sessions will start with those present; late arrivals may join their group at the absolute discretion of the Company and entirely subject to staff being available to brief late arrivals. No participant may enter a room without being briefed.

Re-scheduling, cancellation and refunds

Once payment has been made, cancellation refunds are not accepted and amendments to the booking may only be made in the circumstances below.
With not less than seven days’ notice, your entire booking may be transferred to another date and time subject to availability.
With not less than 24 hours’ notice, your booking may be transferred to another group, in which case you will need to advise us by telephone of who will be attending in your stead. You must make private arrangements with regard to any payment to you by the substitute group. The Company cannot refund your payment and take payment anew from the substitute group.
If one or more members of a group fail to attend, no refund will be made in respect of that player or players.

Cancellation/postponement by The Company

In the unlikely event that the Company cancels an event, clients will be offered an alternative date or, should no available date be convenient, a full refund. This includes any COVID government restrictions.

Cancellation or termination arising from inappropriate behaviour

The Company reserves the absolute right to deny entry or to exclude at any time during the session any person whose behaviour is inappropriate (for example, but not limited to, abusive language towards staff and/or other participants, being under the influence of drugs or alcohol) failure to comply with the rules set out during the briefing, abuse of the fixtures and fittings of the Company’s premises and grounds. Exclusion in these circumstances is entirely at the discretion of the Company and no refund will be made of any payments received by the Company.

Theft, damage & lost property

The Company shall not be liable for any damage to – or theft of or from – property, including vehicles of customers or anyone accompanying/delivering/collecting customers or visitors. Any lost property that is encountered by the Company will be retained for three months, after which time it may be disposed of. The Company accepts no liability for any property left anywhere on its premises by customers/parents/responsible adults or any other non-staff member: Anyone leaving property in whatever circumstances shall be wholly and solely for such property in whatever circumstances.

Force majeure

The Company shall not be liable for any refunds or compensation arising as a result of conditions beyond its control including, but not limited to Acts of God, Government restrictions, wars, insurrections and/or any other cause beyond the Company’s reasonable control. Nor shall The Company be liable for any failure or delay in performance should said failures or delays be proximately caused by causes beyond the Company’s reasonable control and occurring without its fault or negligence, including, without limitation, failure of suppliers, subcontractors, and carriers.
